Support for Charities

We encourage all children to play a part in fundraising during the school year. The specific charities may vary from year to year but we aim to support these at a local, national and international level.

Our local charities include the Birmingham Diocesan Good Shepherd Appeal and the Pastoral Care Project. At a national level, we run a Macmillan Coffee afternoon and sing carols at Christmas for Shelter. Internationally, we support CAFOD and the Shoe Box appeal.

This is just a flavour of the range of charities for which we fundraise throughout the year over time our time aim is raise awareness of others less fortunate than ourselves and, amongst others, we have supported the British Heart Foundation, the NSPCC and Lepra in the past.

Our Stewards of Creation volunteered at the Stretton Shoe Box Appeal. They packed 24 boxes for girls aged 3-5 and found out about how the organisation works. .
