E-Safety at Our Lady's Catholic Primary School
Welcome to our School's E-Safety Page.
At Our Lady’s we value the learning opportunities of the Internet. We enjoy using the internet and know how great it is for our learning. We use it in lots of different lessons to find out lots of interesting information and play fun games linked to what we are learning about but are also aware that there are dangers involved in its use.
We aim to keep our children safe online and also when using mobile phones, games consoles and wireless technology. We feel it is important to educate our children on the benefits, risks and responsibilities of using information technology.
All children are taught in class about acceptable use of ICT and these guidelines are sent home in order that parents and the school can work together to keep children safe when online and to ensure that their use of ICT is age appropriate. The guidelines for acceptable ICT use can be found in the document below.
Please find below the school's current E-Safety Policy. We would recommend you read this and reflect upon your child's internet use at home.
